Summer Time, Supper Time

Fresh pork chops from a pig my husband and his family killed themselves; fried squash straight from the Farmer's Market; garden fresh tomatoes; freshly baked sour dough rolls from my favorite stand at the Farmer's Market and cheesy zucchini slices (also from the Farmer's Market): this is what Summer suppers are made of.  I could eat this meal everyday for the rest of my life and be totally satisfied. The ingredients are fresh and familiar, they are grown by those you love and they are healthy fuel for your body.
