Maple Grove Inn - Knoxville, TN

Before I make a post specifically on my half marathon and our trip, I wanted to make a post dedicated to the amazing bed and breakfast we stayed in while in Knoxville.  Even though the owners were University of Tennessee fans they were an amazing, sweet couple who really loved to serve their guests.  Maple Grove Inn is a family owned and run business that is out of an old, historic home in Knoxville, TN.  This 1700s plantation house is absolutely beautiful and 15 acres that it sits on only add to its quaint, country feel.

When you arrive you go down a long, tree lined driveway that is lined up with the center of the home. We were the only guests for the weekend so we parked in the back and came in and out the back door which led to a cozy sitting room.  Turning the corner toward the staircase led us to a dining room and another living room.  We stayed in the Red Bud Room with sleeps up to 4 with two full sized beds.  The sky blue walls complimented the dark, walnut floors and furniture and the windows lined almost every inch of the walls allowing perfect lighting to come into the room.

I did not take any pictures of the room but I made a video of all the details.  Enjoy, and if you're ever in Knoxville for a day or two, or even a week, I whole heartedly recommend Maple Grove Inn.  You will not regret staying here.
